Week 2 (Nov. 11th & 12th) La Bombonera, ARG.
Boca Junior’s manager J. Dean was facing more questions over
his future after watching Bayern Munchen march past his Boca Juniors
with a 2-1 win. The Boca Juniors started the scoring with a goal
from “Prime Time" Keim in the 10th minute and took a
1-0 lead into halftime. Bayern Munchen scored twice in the second
half, once at 21st minute and the other in the 30th minute. Boca
Junior defender Joe Brown said after the game “we had a strong
game plan but we seemed too relaxed going into the second half with
a one goal lead. As a team, you can’t expect win in Futsal
if you only score once”.

H. Anderson, W. Ferris, & M. Wallace wrote another incredible
chapter in the history of Udinese's clashes against Real Madrid
as they led a remarkable second half effort to secure a morale-boosting
tie. This game started out being a low scoring game with Udinese
taking the lead heading into halftime 2-1 with two H. Anderson goals.
The second half was all offense with 11 goals between the two teams.
Real Madrid started the second half on fire and put two in the net
in the first five minutes of the half. Udinese fought back and eventually
took back the lead with two goals each from Wil Ferris and M. Wallace.
Udinese found themselves one goal up when H. Anderson found the
net for third time to complete his hat trick. With only four minutes
left in the game Udinese had difficulties clearing the ball and
Real Madrid took full advantage of their mistakes. Real Madrid scored
in the 37th minute and added the equalizer with just seconds remaining
in the game.

The Highbury Gunners stormed to a 9-5 victory over PSV Eindhoven
in the OFL on Friday evening. PSV took the lead early with a goal
in the opening minutes of the game. The lead changed hands many
times in the first half but Highbury took to the break with a 4-3
advantage. PSV added two goals in the second half but Highbury added
five of their own goals. Highbury’s Mi. Anderson, who was
match against his younger brother H. Anderson, was quoted before
the game saying “I’ve never lost a game to my younger
bother and I’m not going to start today.” Elder brother
did his part with four goals to lead the Highbury side. E. Bennett
scored twice while J. Koch, M. Ottoson, & T. Werner each had
a goal.
Highbury Goals: Mi. Anderson 4 (4), E. Bennett 2 (4), J.
Koch (3), M. Ottoson (1), T. Werner (1)

Fiorentina scored two goals in the first three minutes to start
this match. Sparta came out as though they were asleep, and only
found themselves up 4-2 after a shaky start. With manager Dnartso
suffering from laryngitis his 2nd assistant, former Irish international
star Patrick Wilkening, delivered the much needed halftime talk.
"Wilkening doesn't yell at us, he just shows us in his own
calm style how we needed to pick up the "talk" and play
a better first touch. He is destined to become one of the great
coaches of all time", said a member of the Sparta team. The
second half saw the team respond. Wilkening stated, "I liked
our 1v1 defending. We have really improved in this area. I was also
glad to see different guys score." The famous rivalry with
the Boca Jr's. comes to town next week. Tickets are said to be going
for 800 euros apiece on the street. The Jr's. have a new manager
- James Dean, who has promised that this will be a game for the
ages.

"Amsterdam ArenA" Netherlands
League newcomers Ajax stepped up the pace
in week two against an experienced Bremen squad. The Kellner Bros.
made a case for forgetting those famous Nevilles from the U.K. and
combined for 4 tallies, while A. Bahena (2), R. Long (1), S. Johnson
(1), and T. Seeley (1) all contributed to the score sheet. But short
handed Ajax were reduced to only 5 players in the second half, and
the spirited WB's made a furious run at the weary legged Dutch to
make this an exciting match all the way to full-time.
F.C. Porto continued their trip abroad
as they traveled to St. James Park in England to tangle with Newcastle.
Missing many players due to national team commitments, Porto relied
on 3 mercenaries from Flumenese to seal a 7-4 road win over the
Magpies. Thanks to Christeni, Kati and Taylero (everyone knows the
Brazilians only use one name) for supplementing the Porto roster,
with Christeni adding 4 goals. Nichole, Liz and Alex each chipped
in with a goal against a Newcastle team that wouldn't quit. Porto's
coach continues to struggle in communicating with his players as
his command of Portuguese is limited. The players communicated well,
as Portuguese is the primary language of both Portugal and Brazil,
but every instruction from the coach was returned with a "voce
e um idiot" or a "seja quieto" from the players on
the field. What the heck does that mean??
The powerful English side Wigan traveled
to Dallas, Texas to play this historical soccer game. This is the
first time any EPL team has played a match in the state of Texas.
Despite the constant rain, the Wigan coach was pleased with his
team's performance. "We got out to an early lead and hung in
there pretty well with the boys. The girls had a great time and
are starting to get a feel for this new game."
