Week 2 (Jan. 13th & 14th)Deportivo Cali bounced back to beat
Argentine powerhouse Boca Juniors 7-3. The opening minutes were
back and forth with both teams scoring early. Jakeito "El Gato"
started in the nets positioning himself well making the saves look
easy throughout the first half. The defense was anchored by Eric
"Arbol" Ruden keeping Juniors star forwards frustrated.
Brendonado thrilled the capacity crowd with his first hat trick
of the season and assisted on two more scored by Kevin "Kevo"
Lynch. Rapido kept the nets scoreless until the very combining athletic
saves and daring dribbling skills in the mold of the former 1980's
Colombian National Team star, Higuita. Joe "Jose" Carlson
and Bryan "Toro" Keating got one goal each to finish off
Juniors.
